When my daughter was 6 months I started giving her carrot juice and less milk every time resulting that now that she's 8 and my boy is 6 and half their breakfast is a fruit smoothie, then they have a banana and sandwich with brown bread with different kind of seeds, for mid-morning, lunch pasta or rice and veggies, usually salad, mid-afternoon fruit and something sweet like croissants, cookies or some home made dessert and the for dinner veggie cream, (obviously a different one every night) the occasionally have fish, BBQed or fried one once a week eggs and every now and then they ask me for greek yoghurt and black chocolate. They have absolutely no sweets such as candies, processed or preserved foods. What was the result of all this? They have excellent health. This has been my particular experiment on how true is "you are what you eat".
